Rivergate at a glance

The Rivergate industrial precinct is an upcoming upmarket business zone. The area's developments offer commercial, industrial, institutional, residential, as well as related land facilities.

Having been completed in October 2013, Sandown Road provides the vital link between the R27 (the West Coast Road) and the N7 (National Rd) - an excellent form of road access to the Cape Town-based area.

Future plans of the area are to accommodate a train station as well as regional facilities such as a Police Station, Magistrate's Court, Municipal Offices, a clinic, a library and commercial development. Single residential and walk-up apartments are also on the table. The driving distance from Cape Town International Airport is around 26km to Rivergate via the M7 and N7, which will take you roughly 31 minutes to reach with an average speed of 80km/h. This area is easily accessible from most locations through the road and rail network.

Future plans will see the Rivergate train station providing a direct route from other areas to the business zone.

A convenient 2.8km away, the Stables Shopping Centre is the most suitable venue for Rivergate employees to get their shopping done. Built by Gorfin Construction and designed by MLH Architects, the fully let centre was officially opened on 29 May 2014 and has since enjoyed massive footfall.
